Karl is the Passionate Founder of bParati, LLC, a company with a soul. It is his mission to align the disaster preparedness efforts of healthcare institutions, emergency management, and public health.

His career includes: 16-years as a Firefighter/Paramedic with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, Tampa, 4-years as a Flight Paramedic with the Aeromed Medevac Program out of Tampa General Hospital, 4-years teaching Paramedics and EMTs at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, and 3-years as the Chief, Division of Disaster Planning and Readiness at the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Karl earned his Florida firefighter and EMT certificates at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, His BA from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and his Master of Public Administration from Troy University in Troy, Alabama.
