 Terrorism Threat

Stephanie Juneau is an intelligence analyst with expertise in international terrorism, with a specific focus on terrorist groups such as al-Qa’ida core, its affiliates and allies, and the Islamic State; as well as the subjects of radicalization and homegrown violent extremism. She has also served as the strategic Suspicious Activity Reporting analyst for the state of Tennessee, and was instrumental in the development of the current TFC SAR process. Since joining the state in 2009, she has served as the embed TFC analyst to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in Memphis, Tennessee, where she has provided valuable assistance to both international and domestic terrorism investigations, and served as a conduit for information sharing. Ms. Juneau is a Criminal Intelligence Certified Analyst (CICA) through the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA). She has a Master’s degree with Honors in Intelligence Studies from American Public University, and completed her Major Research Paper on Radicalization indicators of Homegrown Violent Extremists. Ms. Juneau has a Bachelor’s degree with Honora in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

 

Chey Gethers is an Intelligence Analyst with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) currently assigned to the Tennessee Fusion Center (TFC). Even though she works all crimes at the TFC, she is specialized in Counterterrorism matters and is seen as a subject matter expert on various terrorist organizations and how they impact Tennessee. She began her FBI career in September 2009 in the Nashville Joint Terrorism Task Force.
